Overview
Japan OSP-12 L1000φ 16 is a formed steel wire coating bar (also known as Metering rod), made of stainless steel, with anti-rust and wear resistance properties. The product is a custom bar with a diameter of 16mm, an application width of 1000mm, and a control Coating thickness of 12 microns. It is used to control Flow rate and maintain coating uniformity in paper, film and other production equipment. It is the original imported product of Japan OSP.
Features
1. Made of stainless steel to prevent rusting, Abrasion Resistance is better.
2. For the formed process bar, the length of the specification can be customized.
3. Compared with the traditional steel wire coating bar, it solves the problems of loose steel wire, broken wire, not easy to clean and easy to block, and cannot freely change the surface shape.
4. D-Bar series products can control the minimum 1.5μm wet film thickness to achieve ultra-thin Spreader.
5. The groove bottom of the D-Bar is wider than that of the traditional steel wire coating bar, and the Coating Weight is usually larger.
Principle
Spreader the liquid on the surface of the substrate, use the D-Bar extrusion rod to adjust (scrape off) the amount of liquid, thereby controlling the Coating thickness and maintaining uniformity.

Steps
1. Spreader liquid on the substrate surface.
2. Scrape the Spreader area with the D-Bar Extrusion Bar, adjust and scrape off excess liquid to control the Coating thickness.
