Overview
Japanese OSP-6 micron production bar (also known as Metering rod) is a custom production bar used to control Flow rate and maintain coating uniformity in paper, film and other production machinery and equipment. It adopts formed process and stainless steel material, and has rust prevention and Abrasion Resistance. OSP-06 L1000φ 16 Spreader Metering rod is a custom bar with a rod diameter of 16mm, an application width of 1000mm, and a control Coating thickness of 6 microns. It is an original imported product from Japan OSP.
Features
1. The formed process (D-Bar) can replace the traditional steel wire coating bar to avoid the problem of loose steel wire and broken wire.
2. The bottom of the groove is wider than the traditional steel wire coating bar, and the Coating Weight is usually larger.
3. Minimum 1.5μm wet film thickness can be controlled to achieve ultra-thin Spreader.

Principle
Spreader the liquid on the substrate surface, using D-Bar Grooved Rods to adjust (scrape off) the amount of liquid, thereby controlling the Coating thickness and maintaining its uniformity.

Steps
1. Spreader liquid on the substrate surface.
2. Use the D-Bar bar to scrape the Spreader area, adjust and scrape off excess liquid to control the Coating thickness.
