Overview
The US RDS #42 Applicator rod is a wire-wound bar made of 303 stainless steel, using the Mayer-Bar principle to precisely prepare 96um wet-film. The total length of the coating applicator is 400mm, and the sample part can be scraped 300mm. It is widely used in the field of architectural coatings and Pigments.
Features
1. Made of 303 stainless steel, with strong durability
2. Using Mayer-Bar principle, high film accuracy
3. Accurately prepative 96um wet film thickness
4. Wire-wound production process, Spreader evenly
5. Available in two diameter sizes: quarter inch and three-eighth inch
6. The formed process is also available in 1/4 diameter
Principle
Applicator rod adopts Mayer-Bar principle, through wire-wound design, using the precise diameter of steel wire to control the wet film thickness in the Spreader process, to achieve accurate film preparatory of 96um thickness.
Applications
Architectural coatings and Pigments
