Overview
The Defelsko PosiTector BDYSTD Coating thickness gauge is a versatile device that is compatible with a wide range of PosiTector Probes, including coating thickness, asperity, ultrasonic thickness, dew point, surface profiling, infrared temperature and soluble salt. The new standard console has 1000 reading storage spaces and supports viewing or downloading measurement data.
Features
1. Simple operation: equipped with 2.8-inch anti-Impact color Touchscreen and redesigned keyboard, fast menu navigation; provide screen help function and flashing display, suitable for noisy environment; support reset and restore factory settings.
2. Powerful functions: statistical mode real-time display of average, Standard Deviation, minimum/maximum thickness and number of readings; can save 100 screen images; sealing USB port to connect to PC and provide power; storage measurement with date and timestamp.
3. Durable design: IP65 Protection Rating shell, weatherproof, dustproof, waterproof; ergonomic rubber grip and shock-absorbing rubber leather case for enhanced impact resistance; two-year warranty.
4. Accurate and reliable: includes calibrated certificates traceable to NIST or PTB; meets national and international standards such as ISO and ASTM.
5. Versatility: optional multiple display languages; automatic swirl/spin display with flip lock; compatible with multiple Probe types, easy conversion function.
Principle
The host performs measurements via a compatible PosiTector Probe, which automatically recognizes and performs inspections based on the substrate type, such as measurement of Coating thickness using magnetic or eddy current principles. The measurement data is processed in real time and displayed on the Touchscreen, supporting statistical analysis and storage.
Applications
Coating thickness measurement, asperity measurement, ultrasonic thickness measurement, dew point testing, surface profile testing, infrared temperature measurement, soluble salt testing, hardness testing, wall thickness measurement
