Overview
ZY-DJ-23 23-liter Wali Refining Machine is an international standard equipment used in papermaking laboratories to study pulp and paper processes. The machine treats various fiber stocks by the mechanical force of the knife roller and the bottom knife, which can realize the functions of cutting, crushing, rubbing, splitting, swelling and refining the fibers. The equipment meets the requirements of ISO 5264/I, TAPPI-T200 and GB7980-87 standards, and can change the heavy thallium pressure, Refining time and automatically control the Refining time to obtain different experimental results.

Principle
The Fiber Stock is processed by the mechanical force between the blade roller and the base blade. Measurement of the Stock with a specified concentration is performed between the blade and the base blade of the Valley Refining machine. Refining process can be used for timing sampling and measurement of Pulp dissociation.

Steps
1. Take 360 grams of absolute dry pulp and soak it in 23 liters of water
2. Shred Stock into 25x25mm Pieces
3. Pour the Processed Stock into the Refining Basin
4. Pulp dissociation is tested every 15 minutes (sulfite pulp) or 20 minutes (Kraft Paper pulp)
5. Continuous testing until the required Freeness/Schopper-Riegler is achieved

• Stock should be within the range of 200g~ 700g dry pulp
• Stock needs to be torn into 25mm × 25mm pieces
• 750W/380V power requirements
• The water source can be supplied in a gap or continuous manner
