Principle
The formed wire coating bar (D-Bar) controls the amount of Spreader fluid transferred through a specific groove specification on its surface. During the Spreader process, the size and shape of the grooves determine the amount of Spreader fluid attached per unit area (e.g. 1mm area), resulting in accurate wet film thickness control.
