Overview
OSP-50 L1000/φ 10 formed steel wire coating bar is a kind of OSP series Metering rod, specially designed for printing Spreader of paper, film and other materials. The product supports customization of Coat Weight, length, surface preparation, etc., and is widely used in paint inks, paper printing Encasement, tape protective film and other industries.

Principle
The formed wire coating bar (D-Bar standard groove) controls the amount of transfer of the Spreader liquid through a specific groove specification on its surface. When Spreader, the Spreader liquid fills the groove, and when the coating bar moves on the substrate, the Spreader liquid of Basis Weight in the groove is transferred to the substrate surface to form a wet-film of predetermined thickness. The amount of transfer is usually related to the groove specification (e.g. depth, width).

Steps
1. According to the Spreader conditions and target Coat Weight, refer to the groove specification table to select the appropriate D-Bar model (for example, it is recommended to start with the smallest specification as a guide).
2. Confirm whether the specifications of the selected model (such as wet film thickness, main rod diameter, effective application width, etc.) meet the requirements.
3. Install the coating bar to the Spreader equipment to ensure stable installation.
4. Perform Spreader operation and adjust the process parameters according to the actual Spreader effect.

* 1Mm area may vary depending on the selected material diameter, surface preparation type and thickness.
* The 1mm area data provided by the product does not guarantee Coating Weight, depending on the Spreader conditions and the physical characteristics of the Spreader liquid, the actual film thickness may vary from the estimated value, please use it as a reference value only.
When selecting a D-Bar, it is recommended to refer to the groove specification list and use the smallest specification as an initial guide.
