Overview
OSP-96 L1000/φ 10 is a formed steel wire coating bar, which belongs to OSP series Metering rod products. This product is mainly used for printing Spreader process of paper, film and other substrates. Coating Weight, length and surface preparation can be customized according to customer requirements.

Principle
The formed wire coating bar (D-Bar) measures and transfers coating solution through a specific groove structure on its surface. During the Spreader process, the specification of the groove (e.g. depth, shape) directly affects the wet film thickness transferred to the substrate. The transfer amount of the Spreader solution is usually related to the groove specification and can be used as a reference for selecting the model.

Steps
1. According to the Spreader conditions and the target Coat Weight, refer to the groove specification table to select the appropriate D-Bar model (for example, it is recommended to start with the minimum size as a guide).
2. Confirm whether the specifications of the selected model, such as wet film thickness, main rod diameter, effective application width, etc., meet the requirements.
3. Install Metering rod to Spreader device.
4. Perform the Spreader operation and adjust the parameters according to the actual Spreader effect.

* The 1mm area shown in the groove specification table is the measurement data of the test piece with a material diameter of φ 10, which is for reference only.
Test pieces used for measurement data have not been surface prepared.
* 1Mm area may vary depending on the selected material diameter, surface preparation type and thickness.
* The 1mm area marked on the product does not guarantee the Coating Weight. The actual Spreader film thickness may vary depending on the Spreader conditions and the physical characteristics of the Spreader liquid. Please only use it as a reference value.
* The amount of Spreader fluid transferred is usually related to the groove size, but the specific effect depends on the actual Spreader conditions.
