Overview
ZHS-4 digital paper and Cardboard thickness tester is a special measurement equipment produced by CCYONGXIN. It adopts the international Schopper contact measurement principle and is suitable for accurate measurement of the thickness of various paper, Cardboard and Miscellaneous sheet materials below 4mm.
Features
1. Adopt digital dial indicator display, the reading is intuitive and accurate
2. Contact area 2 +/- 0.05cm ², contact pressure 100 +/- 10kPa, in line with standard requirements
3. Measurement range 0~ 4mm, suitable for thickness measurement of various materials
4. Reasonable structural design, composed of paper pressing mechanism, indicating mechanism, lifting mechanism and connecting mechanism
5. Light weight, Dimension 240 * 160 * 120mm, weight only 4.5kg
Principle
The instrument adopts the principle of contact measurement method. By sandwiching the sample between the measurement head and the measuring anvil, the lower end face of the measurement head has a contact area of 2cm ², and the contact pressure of 100kPa is generated by the sum of heavy thallium, measurement head gravity and percent meter spring force. When the material is pressed, the measurement head moves the distance equal to the material thickness. This displacement is amplified by the internal gear mechanism and converted into a pointer angle, which gives the thickness reading value.
Applications
Paper, Cardboard, sheet material thickness measurement
Steps
1. Press the lever with the left thumb and lift the measurement head
2. Put the test sample in the right hand between the probe and the measuring anvil, and the sample should cover all the measurement surface
3. Evenly and slowly relax the lever, drop the measurement head to contact with the sample, and leave the instrument with your hands
4. Record the dial reading, the small pointer indicates the millimeter integer, and the large pointer indicates the millimeter decimal.
5. Press the lever to lift the measurement head, take out the sample, and measure it at least three different points on the same sample
Notice
• When not in use, the instrument should be placed in a glass cover or plastic bag to prevent dust
• Measurement head end face and measuring anvil surface to prevent collision and corrosion, wipe with gauze before and after measurement
• After the measurement head is lifted, it should gently fall under the action of gravity to prevent Impact damage
• The lifting height of the measurement head should not be too high
• Regularly clean and oil the instrument
• If the measurement head and the measuring anvil surface are corroded, they should be stopped and re-inspected after grinding before they can be used
