PN-BSM600F paper Burst resistance tester is a Mullen instrument designed and developed by PNSHAR brand according to the national standard GB/T 1539 and ISO 2759. It is suitable for all Cardboards with Burst Strength in the range of 350kPa~ 5500kPa, including Corrugated Board and cardboard. The instrument is used to determine the uniform increase of pressure perpendicular to the surface of the sample that the Cardboard can withstand on the unit area. It is an important equipment to measure the mass of the carton and evaluate its ability to withstand handling, loading and unloading, impact and other forces during the circulation process. The instrument integrates functions such as parameter testing, conversion, adjustment, display, memory, printing, etc. It has data processing and automatic reset functions, which is easy to operate and has stable performance.
1. Adopt new module circuit design, with WIFI Internet of Things function, test results can be saved to Cloud as a Service, and query and generate reports through QMS quality management system. 2. It has the function of prompting that the sample is not placed to reduce misoperation. 3. The sample clamping force can be adjusted, and the parameters are preset for one-button testing. 4. After the test is completed, the high-speed return journey will improve the testing efficiency. 5. With emergency stop button, with over-range prompt function. 6. With statistical function, it can display the average, Standard Deviation and Coefficient of Variation. 7. Units can be switched: kPa, kgf/cm2, lbf/in2. 8. Can be connected to computer software, with real-time display of Compression Linear dispersion and Data analysis management, saving, printing and other functions.
The instrument is a Mullen Burst resistance tester. Its Working Principle is to uniformly increase the pressure on the Cardboard sample covered with the resilience film through the hydraulic system under the test conditions until the sample breaks. The instrument measures and records the maximum pressure value of the sample when it breaks, that is, Burst Strength, to evaluate the anti-Breaking strength of the Cardboard.
Cardboard, Single and Multilayer Corrugated Boards

1. Turn on the power and turn it on. 2. Set relevant parameters (e.g. unit, clamping force, etc.) according to the test requirements. 3. Place the sample flat on the lower chuck. 4. Activate the clamping device to fix the specimen. 5. Start the test, and the instrument automatically pressurizes until the sample breaks. 6. After the test is completed, the instrument automatically displays and records the results, and the chuck returns at high speed. 7. You can view the statistical results through the screen or connect the printer and computer software for data output and management.
• The instrument needs to work in an environment with indoor temperature (20 +/- 10) ° C and relative humidity < 85%. • Power supply voltage AC220V +/- 10% before use. • Before testing, confirm that the film resistance meets the standard requirements (resistance of (170~ 220) kPa at protruding height (10 +/- 0.2) mm; resistance of (250~ 350) kPa at protruding height (18 +/- 0.2) mm). • Ensure that the sample is placed flat to avoid test errors or instrument prompts due to sample wrinkles or non-placement. • In case of abnormality during the test, the emergency stop button can be used. • Pay attention to the system sealing of the instrument, the pressure drop should be < 10% FS within 1 minute. • If non-standard air Compressors need to be used, their rated pressure should be (0.6~ 0.7) MPa, and the exhaust volume should be (0.02~ 0.3) m ³/min. • Maintain and calibrate instruments regularly to ensure Test accuracy (Indication Error +/- 0.5% FS, indication variability ≤ 0.5%).
