Overview
Fungilab Viscolead Adv L is a rotational viscometer for the measurement of dynamic viscosity and kinematic viscosity of liquids with High Accuracy measurement and versatile data logging. It supports a variety of rotor configurations and temperature measurements for viscosity analysis in laboratory and industrial environments.
Features
1. Rotation speed, viscosity, sample temperature, shear stress, rotor, full scale percentage, shear speed and density are displayed.
2. The measurement of dynamic viscosity and kinematic viscosity requires the customer to enter the sample density value.
3. Support SI unit system and CGS unit conversion.
4. Can store 10 programs, support TTT and TTS Measurement mode.
5. With self-check function, with sound and light alarm reminder.
6. Automatically calculate the maximum range of the selected rotor and Rotation speed combination.
7. The data logging function generates Excel files.
8. Read the temperature through the PT100.
9. Users can customize viscosity and temperature calibrate.
10. Available in 10 languages, including Chinese pages.
11. USB data transfer to computer Excel and printing through Datalogger software.
Principle
The Viscometer calculates viscosity by measuring the resistance of the liquid by generating a shear force in the sample with a swirl/spin rotor. The sample temperature is monitored using the PT100 temperature sensor and kinematic viscosity is calculated based on the density values entered. Data is processed and displayed electronically.
Applications
Laboratory, industrial quality control, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, coatings, petroleum
Standards
Calibrated certificate
Steps
1. Connect the power supply and turn on the device.
2. Install the appropriate rotor and protective legs.
3. Use the leveling knob to adjust the level.
4. Enter the sample density value (if required).
5. Select the rotor type and Rotation speed combination.
6. Start the measurement program and select TTT or TTS mode.
7. Read and record the displayed data.
8. Use the USB interface to download data to the computer Excel.
Notice
• Shear stress and shear rate are displayed only when matching coaxial rotors.
• The customer needs to enter the sample density value before measuring kinematic viscosity.
• Ensure equipment is placed horizontally to improve Measurement accuracy.
• Check whether the rotor is intact and nondestructive before use.
• Avoid use in environments beyond the specified Temperature range.
• Regularly calibrate to maintain accuracy.
