12. Available in 10 languages (including Chinese)
Principle
The rotational viscometer calculates the viscosity by swirling/spinning the rotor in the sample and measuring the resistance of the sample to the rotor. When the rotor and Rotation speed combination is selected, the device automatically calculates the maximum range and displays parameters such as viscosity, shear rate and shear stress in real time. Temperature is monitored by the PT100 Probe and the user can enter the density value to calculate the kinematic viscosity.
Applications
Chemical, food, pharmaceutical, petroleum, paint, scientific research laboratories
Standards
Calibrated certificate
Steps
1. Connect the power supply and turn it on.
2. Use the leveling knob to adjust the level of the instrument
3. Select the appropriate rotor and install it
4. Enter sample density values (e.g. measurement kinematic viscosity)
5. Rotation speed and Measurement mode
6. Immerse the rotor into the sample to begin measurement
7. Read and record data
8. Clean the rotor and shut down after use
Notice
• Shear stress and shear rate need to be matched with a coaxial rotor to display
• The customer needs to enter the sample density value before measuring kinematic viscosity
• Ensure instruments are placed horizontally to improve Measurement accuracy
• Clean the rotor in time after use to prevent sample residue
• Avoid operating in environments beyond the Temperature range
Periodically calibrated to maintain accuracy
