Overview
The Fungilab V-pad L rotational viscometer is a versatile viscosity measurement instrument for viscosity analysis of various fluid samples. It supports dynamic viscosity and kinematic viscosity measurement, program measurement, Data storage and customization for easy operation via tablet control.
Features
1. Supports multiple unit displays, including Rotation speed, viscosity, temperature, shear speed, and shear stress.
2. Provider Measurement mode, can store and quickly call the program, support TTT and TTS Measurement mode.
3. The data is automatically stored in the comprehensive database, which can activate the mass Detection line and overrange alarm.
4. Customers can customize the measurement Rotation speed, coordinate axis, and have Self-check function.
5. Controlled by an 8-inch tablet, it supports multiple languages, and the results can be exported to PDF and CSV formats.
6. Accessories such as small sample adapters, low viscosity adapters and quick release systems are available.
Principle
The rotational viscometer swirls/spins through the sample with a rotor, measuring torque to calculate viscosity. It displays these parameters using coaxial rotors such as L2C + L3C based on the relationship between shear rate and shear stress. Sample density is entered before viscosity measurement to calculate kinematic viscosity.
Applications
Chemical, food, pharmaceutical, petroleum, coatings, cosmetics
Steps
1. Select and install suitable rotors and Accessories.
2. Input sample density (e.g. measurement kinematic viscosity).
3. Measurement parameters such as Rotation speed or Program mode.
4. Start the measurement, the instrument automatically calculates and displays the data.
5. View real-time charts and export reports to PDF or CSV format.
Notice
• Shear stress and shear rate are only displayed when the coaxial rotor L2C + L3C is matched.
• The customer needs to enter the sample density value before measuring kinematic viscosity.
• It is recommended to use an LCP adapter for measurement of low viscosity samples at 0.1 to 200 RPM.
• Adjustment will be reset to factory calibrated when enabled.
• Rotation speed of 60rpm is recommended when using R-1 rotors to ensure Stability.
• Pay attention to the resolution corresponding to the viscosity range to avoid over-range measurement.
