Overview
The Fungilab Viscolead Adv R is a rotational viscometer for the measurement of viscosity characteristics of various fluids. The instrument offers a wide viscosity measurement range (100 to 13,000,000 cP), supports multiple rotor combinations and Rotation speed control, and has High Accuracy and Repeatability for use in laboratory and industrial environments.
Features
1. Data display: Rotation speed, viscosity, sample temperature, shear stress, rotor, full scale percentage, shear speed and density can be displayed (customer input is required).
2 viscosity measurement: support dynamic viscosity and kinematic viscosity measurement, the sample density value needs to be input before measurement.
3. Unit conversion: SI units can be converted to CGS units.
4. Program measurement: can store 10 programs, support TTT and TTS Measurement mode.
5. Self-check function: with Self-check function, sound and light alarm reminder.
6. Range function: Automatically calculate the maximum range under the combination of selected rotor and Rotation speed.
7. Data logging function: It can record data within a set time period and export it to an Excel file.
8. Temperature reading: Read the temperature through the PT100 Probe.
9. Adjustment: Support user-defined viscosity and temperature calibrating.
10. Multi-language support: Provide 10 language interfaces, including Chinese.
11. Data export: Download the data to the computer Excel and print it using the Datalogger software through the USB port.
Principle
The rotational viscometer calculates the viscosity by measuring the resistance of the fluid to the rotor by swirling/spinning the rotor in the sample. When the rotor swirls/spins at the set Rotation speed, the instrument detects the torque and converts it to a viscosity value, while displaying the shear stress and shear rate (requires a coaxial rotor). Temperature is monitored in real time by the PT100 Probe to ensure measurement accuracy.
Applications
Chemical, pharmaceutical, food, coatings, petroleum, cosmetics, scientific research laboratories
Standards
Calibrated certificate
Steps
1. Connect the power supply and turn on the instrument.
2. Install the selected rotor and protective legs.
3. Enter the sample density value (if required).
4. Select the rotor and Rotation speed combination, the instrument automatically calculates the range.
5. Measuring location of the sample, insert PT100 temperature sensor.
6. Start the measurement program and select TTT or TTS mode.
7. The instrument self-tests and starts measurement, and the data is displayed in real time.
8. Record data or export to Excel via USB.
Notice
• Shear stress and shear rate are displayed only when the coaxial rotor is matched.
• The customer needs to enter the sample density value before viscosity measurement.
• Make sure the instrument is leveled before use.
• Avoid operating in environments outside the Temperature range (0~ 100 ° C).
• Periodically calibrated to maintain accuracy.
• When handling high viscosity samples, use the appropriate adapter to prevent damage.
Make sure the USB connection is stable when exporting data.
