Overview
The Fungilab Smart H rotational viscometer is a High Accuracy viscosity measurement instrument with intuitive Touchscreen operation and versatile display. It is suitable for a wide viscosity range from 200 to 320,000,000 mPa · s, supports multiple Measurement units and program storage, and is suitable for laboratory and industrial environments.
Features
1. Color 6-key touch buttons, intuitive and convenient to operate.
2. Graphical display interface, real-time display Rotation speed, rotor, viscosity, temperature and other data.
3. Support dynamic viscosity and kinematic viscosity measurement, requiring customers to enter sample density values.
4. Unit conversion function, which can be converted between SI and CGS unit systems.
5. Program measurement function, can store 10 programs, support TTT and TTS Measurement mode.
6. Self-check function, with sound and light alarm and upper and lower limit alarm reminder.
7. Automatic range calculation, the maximum range is automatically displayed after selecting the Rotor speed combination.
8. Data logging function, can export Excel files.
9. Read the temperature through the PT100 temperature sensor, support user-defined viscosity and temperature calibrating.
10. Available in 10 languages, including Chinese.
Principle
The rotational viscometer calculates viscosity by measuring the resistance of the sample to the rotor by swirling/spinning the rotor in the sample. The PT100 temperature sensor monitors the sample temperature and automatically calculates and displays parameters such as viscosity, shear rate and shear stress in combination with the density value entered by the customer (for kinematic viscosity). Shear stress and shear rate need to be displayed with a coaxial rotor.
Applications
Laboratory, industrial process control, quality control, R & D, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, paint, oil
Standards
Calibrated certificate
Steps
1. Connect the power supply and turn it on, and use the touch button to select the language and settings.
2. Install the appropriate rotor and protective legs to ensure that the instrument is leveled horizontally.
3. Enter the sample density value (e.g. measurement kinematic viscosity).
4. Select the rotor type and Rotation speed combination, the instrument automatically calculates the range.
5. Place the sample under the rotor and start the measurement program.
6. Select TTT or TTS Measurement mode as required.
7. Read and record the displayed viscosity, temperature, and other data.
8. Use the data logging function to export Excel files.
Notice
• Shear stress and shear rate are shown only when using coaxial rotors.
• Sample density must be entered before measurement of kinematic viscosity.
• Make sure the instrument is placed horizontally and use the leveling knob to adjust.
• Regularly self-test and calibrate to maintain Measurement accuracy.
• When using PT100 temperature sensor, pay attention to Temperature range limit (-40~ 300 ℃).
• Avoid operating in out-of-range or improper environments to prevent damage to the instrument.
When storing the program, ensure that the settings are correct for subsequent quick calls.
