Overview
TBJ-X4 + OSP- 1.5/400 Automatic Film Applicator is a small laboratory Spreader test equipment, all imported accessories, designed to solve the problem of coating differences caused by inconsistent speed and pressure control of artificial films. The device ensures accurate, uniform and high reproducibility wet-film Spreader on different substrates by precisely controlling the speed of the Spreader and applying stable pressure. Standard 1 OSP bar, dedicated to scraping 1.5 micron thick lithium battery separator.

Principle
The Automatic Film Applicator is driven by a motor to achieve uniform linear motion of the Spreader head. The film effect is determined by the Coater and the bar. The device precisely controls the speed of the Spreader and the pressure applied to the film applicator. The matching import bar determines the final accuracy of the film, resulting in a uniform thickness and good reproducibility wet-film coating on the substrate.
Applications

Steps
1. Choose the appropriate Coater type (such as bar type, drawdown blade type, heating type, vacuum type or a combination thereof) according to the experimental requirements.
2. Place the substrate to be Spreader flat on the Spreader table (for film or paper that is not easy to flat, it can be fixed using the Vacuum chuck function).
3. Install and select the appropriate Spreader tool (e.g. standard OSP bar or Miscellaneous bar/drawdown blade).
4. Set the required Spreader speed (range 5~ 180mm/s).
5. If heating is required, set the heating temperature (range from room temperature to 200 ° C).
6. Start the device and perform Automatic Spreader.
7. After the Spreader is completed, remove the sample for subsequent processing.
Notice
• There are many types of Coaters available (such as ordinary bar type, heating type, vacuum type, etc.), please select the appropriate model according to the characteristics of the sample (such as whether it needs to be heated, whether it is a thin film substrate, whether the sample particle size/viscosity, and whether the film thickness requirements are fixed).
• Because the fabric has a vapor transmission rate, there is no need to configure the Vacuum chuck function when selecting the model.
• For paper substrates that are not easy to level, it is recommended to choose a model equipped with Vacuum chuck function.
• The film accuracy depends on the selected Spreader tool, the inlet bar accuracy can reach 0.1 μm, and the drawdown blade accuracy is about +/- 3 μm.
• The equipment supports customized functions, such as jet system, UV curing device, automatic inking system, etc., if necessary, please consult.
• Before operation, make sure that the power supply is 220V 50Hz, and check that the components of the equipment are firmly installed.
• When using the heating function, please pay attention to high temperature to avoid burns.
• Keep the coating table clean to avoid impurities affecting the film mass.
