Overview
TBJ-X2 + RDS 15 #3/8 "Automatic Film Applicator is a small Lab Film Applicator designed to solve the problem of artificial film inconsistencies. It ensures precise and uniform wet-film Spreader on different substrates by precisely controlling the Spreader speed and applying steady pressure, which greatly improves the reproducibility of the film. This model comes standard with 1 RDS15 bar, which is suitable for scraping 34 μm water-based polyurethane film.

Principle
The Automatic Film Applicator is driven by a motor to achieve uniform linear motion of the film applicator (such as bar or drawdown blade) on the substrate. Its core lies in precisely controlling the traverse speed of the Spreader and keeping the pressure applied to the film applicator constant, so as to overcome the problem of uneven coating caused by speed and pressure fluctuations in manual operation, ensuring that the wet film thickness and effect of each Spreader have a high degree of conformity and reproducibility.
