Principle
The instrument fully complies with the magnetic method test principle stipulated in ISO 2178, GB/T 4956, ASTM B499 and other standards, and determines the Coating thickness by measuring the Magnetic flux change between magnetic metal matrix and nonmagnetic coating.

Manufacturing, metal processing industry, chemical industry and other surface engineering testing fields. Steps
1. According to the measurement requirements, choose the appropriate calibration method (single point calibrated or multi-point calibrated) to calibrate the instrument.
2. Place the split Probe on the surface of the sample to be tested.
3. Press the one-button test button for measurement.
4. Read the measurement results displayed on the backlit display.
Notice
• Ambient Temperature 0~ 40 ℃, Humidity 10~ 90% RH and no condensation.
• Storage temperature is -10~ 50 ° C.
• When measuring, ensure that the minimum size of the measured area is not less than 10 × 10mm.
• For magnetic substrates, the minimum thickness needs to be 0.2mm.
• The minimum radius of curvature of the convex surface of the tested sample is 5mm, and the minimum radius of curvature of the concave surface is 10mm.
• Please use 2 AA alkaline batteries (AA alkaline batteries or nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries) to power the instrument, and pay attention to the low battery alarm prompt.
• Standard Accessories include 1 iron substrate, wristband and calibrated test piece. Optional accessories are calibrated test pieces (12μm, 25μm).
