Overview
The YH1000 haze meter (economical) easily implements ASTM D1003 non-compensated, full light transmitance and haze testing. Its open sample compartment supports vertical and horizontal testing to accommodate more samples under test. Using PD array detectors to meet CIE V (lambda) 2 degrees Visual Response, compensated measurement can achieve High Accuracy and repeability of light transmitance and haze data measurement.

Principle
The YH1000 haze meter adopts transmission illumination mode (0/D, parallel light illumination, diffuse reflection reception), and uses a combined LED Illuminant with integrating sphere size φ 154mm and 400~ 700nm. High Accuracy measurement of light transmitance and haze is achieved through PD array detector to meet CIE V (lambda) 2 degree visual Response.

Steps
1. Instrument preheating correction
2. Place the sample in the open measurement area, choose vertical or horizontal test
3. Set parameters through large-size touch operation screen
4. Start the measurement and complete in about 1.5 seconds
5. Output data through USB interface or connect to quality management software for analysis

• Sample thickness should be less than 170mm
