Overview
Shanghai JINGTIAN SNB-1 digital display Rotational Viscometer is a precision measuring instrument with a range of 20 to 600,000 mPa · s. Its LCD screen can display various parameters such as viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, percentile torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value of the selected rotor at the current speed.
Features
1. The LCD screen can display viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, percentile torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value of the selected rotor at the current speed.
The range is wide, ranging from 20 to 600,000 mPa · s.
3. Accurate measurement of ultra-low viscosity samples.
4. Sample requirements are small, requiring only 25 to 30 milliliters.
5. Can measure low viscosity, with different models of Viscometer use.
6. Adopt continuously variable speed regulation mode.
7. reproducibility is +/- 0.5% F.S. Measurement accuracy is +/- 1% F.S.
Principle
The Viscometer is a Rotational Viscometer, the rotor is driven by a motor in the sample swirl/spin, the rotor is subjected to Tack resistance causes torque changes, the instrument measures this torque and calculates the viscosity value of the sample according to the rotor specifications, speed and other parameters.
Steps
Prepare 25 to 30 mL of sample to be tested.
2. Choose the appropriate rotor (L0 #, L1 #, L2 #, L3 #, L4 #) according to the estimated viscosity.
3. Install the rotor and immerse the sample in the specified marking line.
4. Connect the dedicated power adapter.
5. Set the required speed (1~ 60rpm) by continuously variable transmission.
6. Start the measurement, after the reading is stable, read the viscosity and other related data from the LCD screen.
Notice
• Please use the dedicated power adapter (input 100~ 240V, 50~ 60Hz) that comes with the instrument.
• Select the appropriate rotor model according to the estimated viscosity of the sample to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Ensure that the sample size meets the requirements of 25-30mL.
• Wait for the reading to stabilize before recording during measurement.
• Pay attention to the cleaning and maintenance of the rotor to avoid affecting the measurement results.
