Overview
Shanghai JINGTIAN RVDV-2 + L0 digital display Rotational Viscometer is an LCD Viscosity-Tester that can display viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, rotational speed, temperature, percentimeter torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value measurable at the current rotational speed of the selected rotor. Its range is 40~ 40,000,000 mPa · s, which can accurately measure ultra-low viscosity samples, and the sample volume only needs 25~ 30mL.

Principle
Measurement principle based on swirl/spin method. The motor drives the rotor to swirl/spin at a constant speed in the sample, and the torque formed by the rotor's Tack resistance is detected by the Sensor and converted into an electrical signal. The instrument calculates the rheological data such as viscosity, shear stress and shear rate of the sample by measuring the torque value, combining the parameters of the rotor specification and speed, and displays it on the LCD screen.

Steps
1. Connect the dedicated power adapter and turn it on.
2. Select the appropriate rotor (such as L0, R2-R7) according to the estimated viscosity value and install it.
Take 25~ 30mL sample in the measurement container.
4. Immerse the rotor into the sample to the designated marking line.
5. Set the required speed (0.1 to 200 rpm) by continuously variable transmission.
6. Start the measurement, after the reading is stable, record or read the viscosity and Miscellaneous parameters displayed on the LCD screen (such as shear rate, shear stress, temperature, torque percentage, etc.).
7. After the measurement is completed, turn off the instrument and clean the rotor and measurement container.
Notice
Please use the instrument's dedicated power adapter (input 100~ 240V, 50~ 60Hz).
* When selecting a rotor, ensure that the estimated sample viscosity is within the measurable range of the rotor and its speed.
* When immersing the rotor, it is necessary to accurately reach the marking line to ensure the accuracy of measurement.
* Make sure the sample temperature is stable before measurement, because the temperature will affect the viscosity value.
* Instrument with High Accuracy, Avoid Violent Vibration or Impact when Operating.
* After the measurement is completed, the rotor should be thoroughly cleaned in time to prevent the sample residue from affecting the subsequent measurement or damaging the rotor.
* When not in use for a long time, it is recommended to store the instrument in a drying environment.
