Shanghai JINGTIAN SNB-1 digital display Rotational Viscometer is a Rotational Viscometer with a range of 20 to 600,000 mPa · s. Its LCD screen can display parameters such as viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, percentimeter torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value of the selected rotor at the current speed. This model can be adapted to a small number of sample adapters (SSA), the sample volume is only 10~ 20mL, suitable for expensive sample testing, and the sample temperature can be controlled by connecting Thermostatic bath.

Principle
The digital Rotational Viscometer works based on the principle of swirl/spin viscosity measurement. The motor drives the selected rotor to swirl/spin at a set speed in the sample, and the Tack resistance to the rotor causes torque changes. The instrument calculates the viscosity value of the sample by measuring this torque, combined with parameters such as rotor specification and speed, and displays it on the LCD screen. By connecting the Thermostatic bath, the sample temperature is guaranteed to be constant during the measurement process.

Steps
1. According to the estimated viscosity of the sample, select the appropriate rotor (such as L1, L2, L3, L4, 21 #, 27 #, 28 #, 29 #).
2. To use a small sample adapter (SSA), install rotors 21, 27, 28, or 29 and add 10 to 20 mL of sample.
3. Connect the power adapter (input 100~ 240V, 50~ 60Hz).
4. Set the required Rotor speed (1~ 60rpm, CVT) through the instrument panel.
5. For temperature control, connect the Thermostatic bath with external circulation function to the sample adapter.
6. Start the measurement, the instrument LCD screen will display viscosity, speed, percentile torque, rotor number and the maximum measurable viscosity value and other information.
7. After the measurement is completed, remove and clean the rotor and sample adapter.
Notice
* Please select the appropriate rotor and adapter according to the estimated viscosity range and sample volume.
When using a small amount of sample adapters, the sample volume should be controlled between 10 and 20 milliliters.
Make sure that the input voltage of the power adapter is between 100 and 240V, and the frequency is within the range of 50 to 60Hz.
* For precise temperature control, make sure the Thermostatic bath has external circulation and is connected correctly.
* After measurement, the rotor and sample container should be disassembled and cleaned in time to avoid sample residue affecting the subsequent Measurement accuracy.
* Instrument reproducibility is +/- 0.5% F.S. Measurement accuracy is +/- 1% F.S. Please consider this error range when measuring.
