Overview
Shanghai JINGTIAN SNB-2 digital display Rotational Viscometer is a precision measuring instrument with a range of 12~ 6,000,000 mPa · s. It is equipped with an LCD screen that can display various parameters such as viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, percentimeter torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value of the selected rotor at the current speed. The product is equipped with a small number of sample adapters (SSA), including rotors 21, 27, 28, 29, suitable for test scenarios with small sample volume (10~ 20mL).

Principle
The Viscometer is a Rotational Viscometer, and its working principle is based on the swirl/spin method. The motor drives the selected number of rotors to swirl/spin at a constant speed in the liquid to be measured, and the rotor will be subjected to the resistance of the liquid, which will generate a reaction torque. The instrument finally converts the viscosity value of the liquid by measuring the torque value, combining the geometric parameters and speed of the rotor, according to the built-in physical model and calculation formula, and displays it on the digital display screen.

Steps
According to the estimated viscosity range and sample volume, select the appropriate rotor (e.g. L1-L4 or No. 21, 27, 28, 29).
2. Install the selected rotor on the Viscometer host.
3. Pour the sample (10~ 20mL) into a suitable sample cup.
4. Set the required speed (0.1 to 99.9 rpm) through the control panel.
5. Start the measurement, after the reading is stable, read the viscosity and Miscellaneous related parameters from the LCD screen.
6. After the measurement is completed, remove the rotor and sample cup for cleaning.
Notice
Please use the product-specific power adapter (input 100~ 240V, 50~ 60Hz).
* Before measurement, make sure that the rotor is firmly installed and the sample volume meets the requirements (10~ 20mL).
When connecting a Thermostatic bath, make sure it has external circulation for precise sample temperature control.
* Measurement accuracy is +/- 1% F.S., reproducibility is +/- 0.5% F.S., please pay attention to the error range when using.
Instruments and rotors should be cleaned promptly after use to maintain cleanliness.
Do not use outside the range (12 to 6,000,000 mPa · s) or the specified speed range (0.1 to 99.9 rpm).
