Overview
Shanghai JINGTIAN RVDV-1 digital display Rotational Viscometer is a precision measuring instrument with a range of 80 to 40,000,000 mPa · s. Its LCD screen displays rich information such as viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, percentile torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value of the selected rotor at the current speed.

Principle
The digital display Rotational Viscometer works based on the principle of swirl/spin method. The motor drives the selected rotor to swirl/spin in the sample at a set speed, and the torque change is caused by the Tack resistance of the rotor. The instrument calculates the viscosity value of the sample by measuring the torque, combining the rotor specification, speed and other parameters, and displays the result and related parameters on the LCD screen.
Applications
Suitable for all kinds of fields that need to measure liquid viscosity, especially suitable for application scenarios with small or expensive samples.
Steps
1. According to the estimated viscosity of the sample, select the appropriate rotor and install it.
2. Pour the sample (10 to 20 mL) into the adapter container.
3. Connect the Thermostatic bath (if temperature control is required) and set the desired temperature.
4. Turn on the instrument power supply and set the required measurement speed through the continuously variable speed mode.
5. Immerse the rotor into the sample at the specified mark.
6. Start the measurement, after the reading is stable, read the viscosity and related parameters from the LCD screen.
7. After the measurement is completed, remove the rotor and clean it.
Notice
• Please select the appropriate rotor and speed combination according to the estimated viscosity range to ensure that the measurement value is within the range of the instrument.
When using a small amount of sample adapters, ensure that the sample volume is between 10 and 20 milliliters.
• When connecting the Thermostatic bath, ensure that the circulation lines are connected correctly for effective temperature control.
• Before measurement and after changing the sample, be sure to thoroughly clean the rotor and sample container to prevent cross-contamination.
• Please use the power adapter dedicated to the instrument for power supply.
• The instrument should be placed on a stable table to avoid vibration interference.
Do not use it under working conditions beyond those specified by the instrument.
