Overview
HUITAO CSI-56D paper folding resistance tester is used to determine the folding fatigue strength of paper, Cardboard and Miscellaneous sheet materials with a thickness of less than 1mm. The MIT folding resistance tester method is used. The instrument can automatically count the experimental data of multiple samples in the same group, and calculate the MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum, Average and Coefficient of Variation.

Principle
The instrument works based on the principle of MIT folding resistance instrument. The specimen is folded back and forth by the folding head at a set angle and speed under a specific spring tension until the specimen breaks. The instrument automatically detects and records the number of folds through an optoelectronic system to evaluate the folding fatigue strength of the material.

Steps
Prepare specimens with a thickness of less than 1mm.
2. Select the appropriate spring tension and the gap distance between the folding opening according to the standard requirements.
3. Hold the specimen correctly on the instrument fixture.
4. Start the instrument, and the folding head starts to fold back and forth according to the set parameters.
5. The instrument automatically counts until the specimen breaks, and automatically resets after the test.
6. The instrument automatically counts and prints or saves test data (MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum, Average, Coefficient of Variation).
