Overview
SHANGHAI JINGTIAN SNB-1 digital Rotational Viscometer is a precision measuring instrument with a range of 20 to 600,000 mPa · s. It is equipped with an LCD screen that can display in real time various parameters such as viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, percentile torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value of the selected rotor at the current speed. The model is equipped with the SNB-1 + printer, which is a micro monochrome needle printer. It can perform data collection and print temperature, rotor, speed, viscosity value and percentile torque.

Principle
The digital display Rotational Viscometer works based on the principle of swirl/spin method. The motor drives the rotor to swirl/spin at a constant speed in the fluid to be measured, and the rotor will be subjected to the torque caused by the fluid Tack resistance. The instrument measures the torque required to maintain the speed, and finally converts the viscosity value of the fluid according to the rotor specifications, speed and other parameters. The matching printer is responsible for collecting and recording the key data in the measurement process.

Steps
1. Connect the dedicated power adapter and turn it on.
2. Select the appropriate rotor according to the estimated viscosity value and install it.
3. Immerse the rotor into the sample to be tested to the specified marking line.
4. Set the required speed through the instrument panel (stepless adjustable from 1 to 60rpm).
5. Start the measurement, and record or print the viscosity and other related data through the printer after the reading is stable.
6. After the measurement is completed, turn off the instrument and clean the rotor.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is placed horizontally before use.
• Select the appropriate rotor (L1 #, L2 #, L3 #, L4 #) according to the sample viscosity range.
• The depth of the rotor immersed in the liquid shall reach the specified marking line.
• Vibration or Impact should be avoided during the measurement process.
• After use, the rotor should be cleaned in time to prevent the sample residue from affecting the subsequent Measurement accuracy.
• Please use the original dedicated power adapter (input: 100~ 240V, 50~ 60Hz).
