Overview
The Defelsko PosiTest DFT Combo Coating thickness gauge is a dual-function thickness gauge with built-in Ruby Probe, with automatic identification of different substrates, high measurement Sensitivity and Abrasion Resistance. The unique Probe design is especially suitable for thickness measurement of cylindrical parts. Measurement range 0~ 1000 microns, suitable for magnetic substrates and nonmagnetic substrates.

Principle
Using magnetic Induction + eddy Current Measurement principle, different types of metal substrates can be automatically identified and measured.

Steps
1. Automatic identification of substrate type
2. Zero point calibrating (suitable for rough or curved surfaces)
3. Probe positioning measurement with V-groove
4. Read the display measurement results
5. Reset by RESET function

• Make sure the battery is fully charged before use
• Keep Probe in vertical contact with the surface during measurement
• Regularly use standard sheets to verify instrument accuracy
• Avoid severe impact on Probe
• Zero Adjustment is recommended for measurement on rough or curved samples
