Overview
PUSHEN XB-I 120μm Mayer Rods is a laboratory bar that uses grooves formed by stainless steel wire winding to control wet film thickness, which can be prepared for 120 μm wet film thickness. It is widely used in plastics, inks, Coatings, Paints, plastics and other industries, and the stainless steel material has a long service life.
Features
1. Ideal for Spreader thin coatings, such as can Coatings and paper Coatings
2. The most satisfactory effect for soft materials such as paper, Cardboard, foil, leather, test cardboard, Spinning & weaving products
3. Rod and winding are made of high-grade wear-resistant stainless steel
4. Spreaders wet film thickness engraved at the end of XB bar
Principle
The lab bar uses stainless steel wires to wrap around its surface to form grooves, and prepares films of different thicknesses through the gaps between the wires. Wire of different diameters is wrapped around a certain length of stainless steel steel bars, and the gaps between the wires are used to prepares films of different thicknesses.
Applications
Plastics, inks, Coatings, Paints, Plastics, paints, varnishes, inks, glues
Steps
1. Select according to the formula wet film thickness = Coating Weight g/(density × Solid content%) per square meter
2. Spreader on the material surface with Mayer Rods
Notice
* The wet film thickness calculation formula is for reference only, the actual wet film thickness is also affected by various factors such as product ductility, viscosity, coating rod type and so on
Samples need to be uniform and comparable, with accurate thickness control
