Overview
PUSHEN XB-I 150μm Mayer Rods is a laboratory bar, using stainless steel wire winding to form grooves to control wet film thickness, can be prepared 150 micron wet-film, total length 240mm, effective application width 200mm. Widely used in plastics, inks, Coating, Paints, plastics and other industries, stainless steel has a long service life.
Features
1. Very suitable for Spreader thin coatings, such as can Coatings and paper Coatings
2. For soft materials such as paper, Cardboard, foil, leather, test cardboard, Spinning & weaving products, etc
3. Rod and winding are made of high-grade wear-resistant stainless steel
4. The wet film thickness is engraved on the end of the bar for easy identification
Principle
The lab bar uses stainless steel wires to wrap around its surface to form grooves, and prepares films of different thicknesses through the gaps between the wires. Wire of different diameters is wrapped around a certain length of stainless steel steel bars, and the gaps between the wires are used to prepares films of different thicknesses.
Applications
Plastic, inks, Coatings, Paints, Plastic, Canned Coatings, paper Coatings, paints, varnishes, inks, glues
Steps
1. Choose the appropriate coating rod model according to your needs
2. Preliminary calculations using the formula "wet film thickness = Coating Weight g/(density × Solid content%) per square meter"
3. Note that the actual wet film thickness is also affected by factors such as product ductility, viscosity, coating rod type, etc
4. Spreader operations, preparing uniform, comparable samples
Notice
* The above wet film thickness calculation formula is for reference only
* The actual wet film thickness is affected by various factors such as product ductility, viscosity, coating rod type, etc
* Samples need to be uniform, comparable, and precise thickness control to ensure test Reliability
