Overview
ASP Mayer Rods ASP200-L400 is a mid-to-high-end coating applicator in China. It adopts a formed process and is made of wear-resistant stainless steel, which is easy to clean and has good corrosion resistance. The total length of the rod is 400mm, the effective application width is 300mm, and the hand-held part at both ends is 5cm each. No matching handle is required, and it can be directly hand-scraped. This series of Mayer Rods provides Moulding thickness rod numbers in the range of 180~ 600 microns, which are suitable for experimental needs that require preparation of thicker films such as Coatings, inks, glues, Resin, New materials, etc.

Principle
Mayer Rods unifies the Spreader liquid material on the surface of the substrate through a formed process to form a wet-film of the desired thickness. When Spreader, the operator scrapes directly at both ends, using the rod structure and material characteristics to achieve accurate film thickness control.

Steps
1. Prepare Spreader Substrate and Spreader Liquid
2. Spreader liquid evenly poured on the substrate
3. Hold both ends of the coating applicator
4. Scrape evenly at the right angle and speed
5. Spreader the coating applicator
