Overview
ASP250-L400 Mayer Rods is a mid-to-high-end coating applicator in China. It adopts a formed process and is made of wear-resistant stainless steel, which is easy to clean and has good corrosion resistance. The total length of the rod is 400mm, the effective application width is 300mm, and the hand-held part at both ends is 5cm. No matching handle is required, and it can be directly hand-scraped. This series of Mayer Rods provides Moulding thickness rod numbers in the range of 180~ 600 microns, which are suitable for the experimental needs of Coatings, inks, glues, Resin, New materials, etc. that require preparation of thicker films.

Principle
Mayer Rods implements the Spreader function through a formed process. When used, it directly holds both ends for scraping operation to form a uniform wet-film on the surface of the substrate.
