Overview
ASP450-L400 Mayer Rods is a mid-to-high-end coating applicator in China. It adopts a formed process, made of wear-resistant stainless steel, easy to clean and has good corrosion resistance. The total length of the rod is 400mm, the effective application width is 300mm, and the hand-held parts at both ends are 5cm each. No matching handle is required, and it can be directly scratched by hand.

Principle
Mayer Rods formed a process to prepare a uniform wet-film on the surface of the substrate, and used the precise structure on the stainless steel rod to control the thickness of the Spreader to achieve the standardized Spreader of the experimental samples.

Steps
1. Spreader samples and substrates
2. Place an appropriate amount of sample on one end of the substrate
3. Hold the 50mm part at both ends of the coating applicator
4. Scrape the sample at uniform speed and pressure
