Overview
The Defelsko PosiTector 6000 NKS1 Aluminized Thickness Gauge is an eddy Current thickness gauge for nondestructive testing of the thickness of nonconductive coatings on non-ferrous metal substrates, with a thickness measurement range of 0 to 13mm. The instrument is a standard thickness gauge of the Positector6000 series, with 1000 data storage functions, the ability to freely split and replace Probe, menu navigation, easy and convenient operation.

Principle
The PosiTector 6000 NKS1 uses the eddy Current Measurement principle to generate a high-frequency electromagnetic field through the Probe. When the Probe is close to a non-ferrous metal substrate, an eddy current is generated on the metal surface. The thickness of the nonconductive coating is determined by measuring the change of eddy current.

Steps
1. Install 3 AAA alkaline batteries
2. Power on and select the system language
3. Choose the right Probe according to the measurement needs
4. Probe perpendicular to the coating surface for measurement
5. View measurement results and statistics with Touchscreen
6. Connect to the computer using the USB interface, and perform data transmission and analysis through PosiSoft software

• Probe clean and pollution-free before measurement
• Probe should be kept perpendicular to the measured surface during measurement
• Regularly calibrated to ensure Measurement accuracy
