Overview
ASP275-L400 Mayer Rods is a mid-to-high-end coating applicator in China. It adopts a formed process and is made of wear-resistant stainless steel, which is easy to clean and has good corrosion resistance. The total length of the rod is 400mm, the effective application width is 300mm, and the hand-held part at both ends is 5cm. No matching handle is required, and it can be directly hand-held and scraped. This series of Mayer Rods provides Moulding thickness rod numbers in the range of 180~ 600 microns, which are suitable for experimental needs that require thicker films such as Coatings, inks, glues, Resin, and New materials.

Principle
Through the formed process, the stainless steel bar is scraped on the surface of the substrate to form a uniform wet-film, and the wet film thickness is determined by the rod number.
