Overview
The RDS 115G #3/8 "Gap Applicator rod is a professional Spreader tool based on the Mayer Rod film principle for film preparation of high viscosity fluids. The product is made of stainless steel with a diameter of 9.52mm, a total length of 400mm, an application width of 300mm, and can be prepared for 262.9μm wet film thickness.

Principle
Following the principle of Mayer Rod film, a wide and shallow cavity structure is formed by wrapping smaller wires at spacing. This design allows high viscosity fluids to flow better, and smaller wires produce less interruption in the coating flow, allowing the coating to wetting the substrate surface more completely.

Steps
1. Prepare high viscosity fluid samples for Spreader
2. Applicator rod flat on the substrate surface
3. Spreader Applicator rod at uniform speed
4. Clean Applicator rod in time after Spreader
5. Check Coating thickness and mass

• Applicator rod surface clean before use
• Maintain uniform pulling speed during Spreader
• Suitable for high viscosity fluids, not recommended for low viscosity liquids
• It should be cleaned in time after use to avoid fluid curing blockage
• Avoid collision and extrusion when storing, and keep the rod body straight
