Overview
The RDS 130G #3/8\ "Interstitial Applicator rod is a professional Spreader tool based on the Mayer Rod film principle, suitable for film preparatory of high viscosity fluids. The product is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 9.52mm, a total length of 400mm, an application width of 300mm, and a wet film thickness of 297.2μm. Spreader is achieved through the interstitial wire-wound production process.
Features
1. Adopt gap wire-wound design to reduce high viscosity fluid clogging and scratching problems
2. Wide and shallow cavity structure promotes uniform flow of thick coatings
3. Smaller wire design makes coating flow less interrupted and wetting more complete
4. Stainless Steel Ensures Durability and Stability
5. Precise wet film thickness control (297.2μm)
Principle
Following the principle of Mayer Rod film, a wide and shallow cavity structure is formed by wrapping smaller wires at spacing. For high viscosity fluids, this design reduces clogging and eliminates scratches, allowing thicker coatings to flow better. Smaller wires create smaller interruptions in the coating flow, allowing the coating to wetting the substrate surface more completely.
Applications
High Viscosity Fluid Spreader, Thick coating prepative, Laboratory film, Industrial Spreader process
Steps
1. Prepare high viscosity fluid samples for Spreader
2. Applicator rod at the beginning of the substrate
3. Spreader Applicator rod at uniform speed
4. Check Coating thickness and uniformity
5. Clean Applicator rod for next use
Notice
• Applicator rod clean and free of contamination before use
• Maintain uniform pulling speed during Spreader
• Avoid using fluid viscosity beyond the specification range
• Clean in time after use to prevent residue curing
• Avoid collision and deformation when storing
