Overview
The KAIRDA NDT530 (F1) Coating thickness gauge is a precision instrument dedicated to the measurement of nonmagnetic Coating thickness on magnetic metal substrates. The Measurement range is 0 to 1250 microns, and the resolution is 0.1 microns. The instrument can be equipped with a variety of Probes, supports continuous measurement and single measurement. It has two Operating Modes: Direct and Group. The built-in Data storage function can save 100 readings.
Features
1. Automatic Probe Recognition
2. Measurement modes of continuous measurement and single measurement
3. Direct and group working methods
4. Probe contact parts are plated with hard chrome or ruby for durability
5. The upper and lower limits can be set, and a sound or light prompt will be issued when the limit is exceeded.
6. Error prompt through screen display or beep
7, Aluminum housing is compact and portable, anti-vibration, Impact and electromagnetic interference
8. Three Adjustments: zero point calibrated, one point calibrated, two point calibrated
9. Optional microcomputer software supports Data storage, transmission, statistical analysis and printing
Principle
The principle of magnetic Induction is used for measurement, and the thickness of nonmagnetic coatings on magnetic metal substrates is detected by external magnetic Induction Probe.
Applications
Manufacturing, metal processing industry, commodity inspection, chemical industry and other fields detect fireproof layer, anti-corrosion layer, enamel layer, platings, paints layer, Babbitt tile, phosphating layer, aluminum tile, copper tile, paper thickness measurement
Steps
1. Measurement mode: continuous measurement or single measurement
2. Select the working method: direct mode or group mode
3. Probe calibrated: zero point calibrated, one point calibrated or two point calibrated
4. Set upper and lower limits (optional)
5. Start measurement and read data
6. Store measurement data (up to 100 readings)
Notice
• Select the appropriate Probe according to the measurement requirements before use
• Probe calibrated regularly to ensure Measurement accuracy
• Pay attention to the battery power. Battery life is greater than 200 hours when the backlight is not turned on.
• Avoid use in strong electromagnetic interference environments
• Probe in full contact with the coating surface during measurement
• The upper and lower limits need to be set in advance for the over-limit prompt function
