Overview
A.shine Type 59 Dyne pen is a professional tool for testing the surface tension of materials. It has a built-in 15ml test solution and can be used more than 100 times. It can accurately test the surface tension of materials such as Plastic film, help determine whether it is suitable for printing, compounding or vacuum aluminizing processes, and effectively control the mass.
Features
1. Built-in 15ml test solution, which can be used more than 100 times
2. Shelf life is 6-8 months
3. The pen tip is carefully designed to reduce the contact between dyne liquid and air
4. Each pen has undergone multiple inspections, quality assurance
5. Strictly comply with ASTM Standard D2578 and TAPPI T698
Principle
Dyne pen determines the surface tension by marking the test liquid on the surface of the material with the tip of the pen and observing the behavior of the liquid on the surface. If the test liquid does not cissing within 3 seconds, the surface tension of the material reaches the selected Dyne Level; otherwise, it is not reached.
Applications
Plastic film: PS, PE, PP, PET, PI, PC, NY, CPP, OPP, PVC, conductive materials: aluminum foil, copper foil, carbon foil, vapor coating, Miscellaneous materials: Glass, ceramics, plastic sheet, plastic pipe
Standards
ASTM Standard D2578、TAPPI T698
Steps
1. Choose the right Dyne Level corona pen
2. Clean the film surface and lay it flat on a horizontal table
3. Use a corona pen to stroke lightly on the film surface
4. Observe whether the liquid cissing within three seconds: if there is no cissing, the selected dyne will be reached, otherwise it will not be reached
Notice
• Avoid skin/eye contact
• Avoid inhaling vapors, mists or gases
Keep away from heat and ignition sources
• The valid period is 6 months (from the date of opening the lid)
