Overview
A.shine Dyne pen Model 61 is a professional tool for testing the surface tension of materials. It can accurately test whether the Plastic film surface tension reaches the test pen value, help users determine whether the material is suitable for printing, compounding or vacuum aluminizing processes, effectively control the mass and reduce the loss caused by the material failure.
Features
1. Built-in 15ml test solution, can be used more than 100 times
2. Shelf life is 6-8 months
3. The pen tip is carefully designed to reduce the chance of contact between dyne liquid and air
4. Each pen has undergone multiple inspections and the quality is guaranteed
Principle
The Dyne pen observes the wetting behavior of the liquid on the surface of the material by scribbling the test liquid on the surface of the material with the tip of the pen. If the test liquid does not cissing within 3 seconds, the surface tension of the material has reached the selected Dyne Level; if cissing occurs, the desired surface tension level has not been reached.
Applications
Plastic film: PS, PE, PP, PET, PI, PC, NY, CPP, OPP, PVC, conductive materials: aluminum foil, copper foil, carbon foil, vapor coating, Miscellaneous materials: Glass, ceramics, plastic sheet, plastic pipe
Standards
ASTM Standard D2578、TAPPI T698
Steps
1. Choose the right Dyne Level corona pen
2. Clean the film surface and lay it flat on a horizontal table
3. Use a corona pen to stroke lightly on the film surface
4. Observe whether the liquid is cissing within three seconds, and if there is no cissing, it reaches the selected Dyne Level
Notice
• Avoid skin/eye contact with the test solution
• Avoid inhaling vapors, mists or gases
Keep away from heat and ignition sources
• The valid period is 6 months from the date of opening
