Overview
JINGHUAYIQI LD - NP-WL Burst Strength tester is an economical and practical automatic paper Burst Strength tester. It is developed and produced based on the international universal Mullen method, and is specially designed for Burst Strength performance testing of paper, aluminum foil and other materials. The instrument is fully functional, accurate data and affordable. It is suitable for Burst Strength testing of all kinds of base paper, paper and aluminum foil, and can also be used for Burst Strength testing of non-paper sheet materials such as silk and cotton cloth.
Features
1. Fully automatic test function, easy to operate.
2. High Accuracy measurement, Precision ≤ +/- 0.5%, resolution 0.01kPa.
3. Economical and practical design, affordable price.
4. Modular integrated thermal printer for easy data output.
5.3.4 inch 320 * 240 point matrix LCD display, real-time display of data changes.
6. Support unit conversion, including Kg/cm2, kpa, lbf/in2.
Principle
The Burst Strength tester is based on the Mullen method. The sample is clamped by the upper and lower pressure plates, the clamping force is applied (400~ 1200KPa), and then the film convex plate is pushed at the oil feeding speed of 95 +/- 5mL/min to break the sample under pressure. Burst Strength measurement. The instrument monitors pressure changes in real time to ensure accurate data.
Applications
Paper, aluminum foil, silk, cotton cloth and other non-paper sheet materials
Standards
JIS-L1004、L1018、L1031、K6328、P8131、P8112、GB/T454-2020、ASTM-D2210、TAPPI T403、ISO2759-2001、GB/T1539
Steps
1. Prepare samples to ensure compliance with test requirements.
2. Place the sample between the upper and lower pressure plates and adjust the clamping force to 400~ 1200KPa.
3. Start the instrument, and the oil feeding system pushes the film convex disc at a speed of 95 +/- 5mL/min.
4. Observe the liquid crystal display data changes in real time until the sample breaks.
5. Record Burst Strength data and output the results using a thermal printer.
Notice
• Ensure Ambient Temperature at (20 +/- 10) ℃ and Humidity < 85%.
• Regularly check the concentricity of the upper and lower plates to ensure that it is less than or equal to 0.25mm.
• The film convex disc pressure should be maintained within the range of 9mm [ (30 +/- 5) kPa].
• Avoid use beyond the range, Measurement range is limited to 50~ 1400kPa.
• Pay attention to safety during operation to prevent sample splashing.
