Overview
A.shine Dyne Pen Model 29 is a professional tool for testing the surface tension of materials. It can accurately determine whether materials such as Plastic film reach a specific Dyne Level, helping users control the mass of printing, compounding or vacuum aluminizing processes, and reduce the loss caused by material failure.
Features
1. Built-in 15ml test solution, can be used more than 100 times.
2. The shelf life is 6-8 months.
3. The pen tip is carefully designed to reduce the contact between dyne liquid and air.
4. Each pen has undergone multiple inspections and the quality is guaranteed.
Principle
Dyne pen applies the test liquid to the surface of the material by applying the pen tip, and observes whether the liquid cissing within 3 seconds to determine whether the surface tension reaches the selected Dyne Level. If there is no cissing, the surface tension of the material meets the standard; otherwise, it does not meet the standard.
Applications
Plastic film: PS, PE, PP, PET, PI, PC, NY, CPP, OPP, PVC, conductive materials: aluminum foil, copper foil, carbon foil, vapor coating, Miscellaneous materials: Glass, ceramics, plastic sheet, plastic pipe
Standards
ASTM Standard D2578、TAPPI T698
Steps
1. Choose the right Dyne Level corona pen.
2. Clean the film surface and lay it flat on a horizontal table.
3. Use a corona pen to stroke lightly on the film surface.
4. Observe whether the liquid cissing within three seconds: without cissing, the selected dyne is reached, and vice versa, it is not reached.
Notice
Avoid skin/eye contact.
Avoid inhaling vapors, mists, or gases.
Keep away from heat and ignition sources.
- The valid period is 6 months from the date of opening.
