The LINSHANG LS223 Coating thickness gauge is a precision measuring instrument designed with the dual principle of magnetic Induction and eddy Current, suitable for the measurement of Coating thickness on iron and non-iron substrates. Its Measurement range is 0~ 5000 μm wide, with high resolution and fast measurement ability, it is a reliable tool for quality control in industrial sites.
1. Using magnetic Induction and eddy Current Dual Measurement principle, automatically identify the matrix material. 2. Measurement range is wide, up to 0~ 5000μm. 3. High resolution, support 0.1μm, 1μm, 0.01mm multi-file switching. 4. Probe is made of wear-resistant ruby material, with a line design, and has a long service life. 5. Equipped with 128x64 point matrix LCD display, clear reading. 6. Support both μm and mil unit display. 7. Low requirements for measurement surface, minimum measurement surface diameter φ = 25mm, suitable for a certain curvature surface.
The instrument works based on the principle of magnetic Induction and eddy Current. The principle of magnetic Induction is used for the measurement of nonmagnetic coatings on ferromagnetic substrates (such as steel and iron); the principle of eddy Current is used for the measurement of insulating coatings on non-ferromagnetic metal substrates (such as copper, aluminum, zinc). The instrument can automatically identify the type of substrate and select the corresponding principle for measurement. After the Probe is in contact with the coating, the Coating thickness is accurately calculated by the change of the induced magnetic field or eddy current.

1. Power on: Long press the power button to start the instrument. 2. calibrate: zero point calibrate on the same material substrate without coating, and use standard sheet for multi-point calibrate if necessary. 3. Select mode: The instrument usually automatically recognizes the substrate (Fe/NFe), and can also be switched manually. 4. Place the Probe: Place the Probe vertically and smoothly on the surface of the coating to be tested. 5. Read the value: keep it stable, and read the measurement result after the displayed value is stable. 6. Record data: multiple measurements can be averaged. 7. Shutdown: Short press the power button or wait for automatic shutdown.
• Before measurement, calibrate on a non-coated substrate of the same material to ensure measurement accuracy. • For measurement, the Probe must be perpendicular to the measured surface and remain stable. • The radius of curvature of the measured area should not be less than the specified MIN Minimum (convex 5mm, concave 25mm). • The thickness of the substrate should be greater than the specified minimum substrate requirements (Fe: 0.2mm, NFe: 0.05mm). • Avoid use in a strong magnetic or electric field environment to avoid interfering with measurement. • Keep Probe Ruby Probes clean to avoid abrasion and oil contamination. • Operating temperature of the instrument is 0~ 50 ℃, please use and store in the specified environment. • When not in use for a long time, please remove the battery.
