Overview
The AMITTARI AMR-1004 asperity measurement bench is an auxiliary measurement device designed for use with surface roughness meters (AR-132B models only). It is used to provide stable support and positioning when measuring the asperity of the surfaces of various complex shapes such as bevels, outer cylinders, inner bore surfaces, deep groove surfaces, arc surfaces, and spherical surfaces.
Features
1. Specially designed for the measurement of complex curved surfaces, it supports a variety of measured surfaces such as inclined surfaces, cylindrical surfaces, inner holes, deep grooves, arcs and spherical surfaces.
2. Use with a specific type of surface roughness instrument (AR-132B) to ensure compatibility and measurement Stability.
3. As an auxiliary bench, it can effectively fix the measured object and adjust the Measuring location.
Principle
The measurement bench itself does not directly perform asperity measurement. Its Working Principle is to provide a stable installation and operation platform for the surface roughness meter. By installing the Roughness Gauge on the bench and fixing and adjusting the position of the measured workpiece, the probe of the Roughness Gauge can accurately and stably contact the complex surface to be measured, thus assisting in the completion of accurate asperity data collection.
Steps
1. Install the surface roughness instrument on the bracket.
2. Fix the measured object.
3. Adjust the position.
4. Turn on and make measurements.
Notice
• This measurement bench is limited to use with the AR-132B surface roughness meter.
• Before use, make sure that the surface roughness meter and the bench are firmly installed and the measured object is firmly fixed.
• Measuring location needs to be carefully adjusted during operation to ensure that the probe is in correct contact with the measured surface.
