Principle
The CTG-800-1500F Coating thickness gauge works based on the principle of magnetic Induction and realizes fast and non-destructive measurement by detecting the nonmagnetic Coating thickness on a magnetic substrate. The instrument uses the magnetic Induction change between the probe and the substrate to accurately calculate the Coating thickness and is suitable for various measurement environments.
Applications
Automobile industry, manufacturing industry, metal processing industry, chemical industry, commodity inspection
Standards
National standards, international standards
Steps
1. Make sure the instrument is powered on and powered by 2 AA batteries.
2. Measurement mode: single measurement or continuous measurement.
3. Touch the probe lightly on the surface to be tested to keep the pressing force stable.
4. Read the results of the large-screen digital display, and perform unit conversion (μm/mil).
5. After the measurement is completed, you can choose to shut down manually or wait for automatic shutdown.
Notice
• Only for nonmagnetic coating measurements on magnetic substrates.
• Operating temperature range is -10-50 ℃, relative humidity should be less than 80%.
• Make sure that the thinnest film thickness of the substrate is not less than 0.3mm during measurement.
• In hard or rough surface measurement, pay attention to keep the probe compression force stable.
• Avoid instrument from being strongly impacted or dropped to maintain accuracy.
• Regularly check the battery level to ensure normal use.
