Principle
The Rotational Viscometer is based on the swirl/spin Measurement principle. The instrument drives the rotor to swirl/spin uniformly in the sample, and the rotor is subjected to Tack resistance from the sample and generates torque. The instrument measures the torque value, combines the geometric parameters of the rotor and the speed, and obtains the sample viscosity value through internal calculation. The accompanying program-controlled download software allows the user to preset the test program (such as the speed sequence) on the computer, and download the program parameters to the Viscometer to perform automated measurement.

Steps
1. Install and connect the dedicated power adapter.
2. Select the appropriate rotor (L1 #, L2 #, L3 #, L4 #) according to the estimated viscosity range and install it.
3. Place the sample in the measurement vessel, ensuring that the rotor is immersed at the specified mark.
4. Turn on the instrument power.
5. Set the required speed (0.1 to 99.9 rpm) through the instrument panel or supporting software.
6. Start measurement, the instrument will automatically display and record viscosity and other related parameters.
7. If you use the program-controlled download software, you need to compile the test program on the PC first, and then download the program parameters to Viscometer through the cable, and then the Viscometer executes the preset measurement procedure.
Notice
• Please use the special power adapter supporting the instrument for power supply, the input voltage range is 100~ 240V, and the frequency is 50~ 60Hz.
• When selecting a rotor, refer to its corresponding Measurement range to ensure that the viscosity value of the sample to be tested is within the measurable range of the selected rotor and speed (the instrument will display the maximum measurable viscosity value).
• During measurement, ensure that the rotor is correctly installed and immersed in the sample to a specified depth to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results.
