Overview
Shanghai JINGTIAN RVDV-1 digital Rotational Viscometer is a digital Rotational Viscometer with a range of 80~ 40,000,000 mPa · s. Its LCD screen can display viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, percentile torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value of the selected rotor at the current speed. The product is equipped with program-controlled download software, which can download the test parameters from the computer to the Viscometer.

Principle
The Rotational Viscometer is based on the swirl/spin Measurement principle. The motor drives the rotor to swirl/spin in the sample. Sensor measures the Tack resistance (torque) of the rotor. The instrument calculates the viscosity value of the sample according to the speed, rotor geometry parameters and measured torque, and displays it on the LCD screen. The accompanying program-controlled download software allows the user to preset the test program on the computer and download the parameters to the Viscometer for execution.

Steps
1. Connect the Viscometer to the power adapter.
2. Select the appropriate rotor according to the measurement requirements and install it.
3. Place the sample in the measurement vessel, ensuring that the rotor is immersed at the specified mark.
4. Power on Viscometer.
5. Set the required test parameters such as speed through the instrument panel or the supporting program-controlled download software (if using the software, you need to program it on the computer and download it to Viscometer first).
6. Start measurement, the instrument will automatically display and record viscosity and other related data.
7. After the measurement is completed, turn off the power and clean the rotor and measurement container.
Notice
Before use, make sure that the input voltage of the power adapter matches the local power grid (input 100~ 240V, 50~ 60Hz).
When installing and replacing the rotor, be careful to avoid damage.
* Make sure the rotor is properly immersed in the sample to the specified depth during measurement.
The instrument should be placed on a stable countertop to avoid vibration.
* After measurement of different samples, the rotor and measurement components should be thoroughly cleaned in time to prevent cross-contamination.
* Do not use beyond the range of the instrument or under specified environment conditions.
* Software operation needs to be programmed and downloaded according to the instructions.
