Overview
SHANGHAI JINGTIAN LVDV-2 digital display Rotational Viscometer is a wide range measuring instrument with a viscosity measurement range of 60 to 60,000,000 mPa · s. The device is equipped with an LCD screen that can visually display various parameters such as viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, percentimeter torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value of the selected rotor at the current speed. The product is equipped with program-controlled download software, which supports computer programming of test programs and downloading parameters to Viscometer.

Principle
The LVDV-2 digital display Rotational Viscometer works based on the swirl/spin method Measurement principle. The instrument drives the selected rotor to swirl/spin at a uniform speed in the sample, and the rotor is subjected to the torque caused by the viscous resistance of the sample. By measuring the torque required to maintain a constant rotor speed, and based on the rotor geometry and speed, the instrument can calculate the viscosity value of the sample, and can derive the shear rate and shear stress and other related rheological parameters.

Steps
1. Install and connect the Viscometer with a dedicated power adapter.
2. Select the appropriate rotor according to the estimated viscosity value and install it.
3. Place the sample in the measurement vessel, ensuring that the rotor is immersed at the specified mark.
4. Turn on the power supply and set the required speed and other parameters through the instrument panel or program control software.
5. Start the measurement, after the reading is stable, read the viscosity and related parameters from the LCD screen.
6. When using the supporting program-controlled download software, you need to prepare the test program on the computer first, and then download the parameters to Viscometer to perform measurement.

* When selecting a rotor, ensure that the estimated sample viscosity is within the measurable range of the selected rotor and speed.
* Ensure that the rotor is properly installed and immersed in the sample to the specified depth during measurement.
