Overview
Shanghai JINGTIAN RVDV-2 digital Rotational Viscometer is a digital Rotational Viscometer with a range of 40 to 40,000,000 mPa · s. Its LCD screen can display viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, percentile torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value of the selected rotor at the current speed. The product is equipped with RVDV-2 + program-controlled download software, which can download the test parameters from the computer to the Viscometer.

Principle
The digital Rotational Viscometer drives the rotor to swirl/spin in the sample through the motor, and the torque change is caused by the Tack resistance of the rotor. The instrument measures this torque value, and combines the rotor specifications, speed and other parameters. Through internal calculations, the relevant rheological data such as viscosity and shear stress of the sample are finally displayed on the LCD screen.

Steps
1. Connect the Viscometer to the computer and start the program-controlled download software.
2. Write the required test program on the computer software.
3. Download the prepared test parameters to the RVDV-2 Viscometer.
4. Select the appropriate rotor according to the test requirements and install it.
5. Immerse the rotor into the sample to be tested to the designated marking line.
6. Start the test on the Viscometer and the instrument will automatically run the downloaded program and display the measurement results.

• Please use the product-specific power adapter (input 100~ 240V, 50~ 60Hz).
• Measurement range according to select the appropriate rotor (R2 #, R3 #, R4 #, R5 #, R6 #, R7 #).
• Ensure that the depth of the rotor immersion in the sample meets the requirements.
Measurement accuracy of +/- 1% F.S. and reproducibility of +/- 0.5% F.S. Please consider this error range when evaluating results.
