Overview
Shanghai JINGTIAN HBDV-2 + programmable download software is a digital display Rotational Viscometer. The Viscometer LCD screen can display viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, percentimeter torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value of the selected rotor at the current speed, etc. The range is 320~ 320,000,000 mPa · sec. The supporting programmable download software is used to connect the Viscometer with the PC, and the test program can be compiled on the computer and the parameters can be downloaded to the Viscometer.

Principle
Measurement principle based on swirl/spin method. The motor drives the rotor to swirl/spin uniformly in the sample, and the torque changes due to the Tack resistance of the rotor. By measuring the torque value, combined with the rotor specifications, speed and other parameters, the instrument calculates internally, and finally displays the viscosity value and Miscellaneous rheological parameters of the sample directly on the digital display screen.

Steps
1. Connect the Viscometer to the PC.
2. Use the program-controlled download software on the computer to program the test program and set the test parameters.
3. Download the prepared test program to the HBDV-2 Viscometer.
4. Install the appropriate rotor according to the test requirements.
5. Immerse the rotor into the sample to be tested at the specified mark.
6. Start the test on the Viscometer, and the instrument will automatically run according to the downloaded program and display the measurement results.
Notice
Please use a dedicated power adapter for power supply, with an input voltage range of 100 to 240V and a frequency of 50 to 60Hz.
* Select the appropriate rotor model (R2 #, R3 #, R4 #, R5 #, R6 #, R7 #) and speed according to the estimated viscosity range of the sample to be tested.
Make sure the rotor is clean and firmly installed, and the depth of immersion in the sample needs to be accurate.
* Measurement accuracy is +/- 1% F. S, reproducibility is +/- 0.5% F. S, please evaluate results within the allowable error range.
When operating the software, make sure that the computer has a stable connection to the Viscometer so that the test program can be downloaded correctly.
