Overview
UK RK KHC.11.9 is a wide-wound paint scraper with a total length of 37.5cm, an effective application width of 25.5cm, and a wet film thickness of 120 microns. The Applicator rod is suitable for manual Spreader or automatic Spreader operation with Coater, and can also be used with RK KHC.20/21 small/large Drawdown Plate.
Features
1. Adopt wire-wound production process
2. Made of stainless steel
3. The diameter of the rod body is only 0.9cm, which is easy to operate
4. Total length 37.5cm, application width 25.5cm
5. Can form 120 micron accurate film thickness
6. Compatible with manual and automatic coating methods
7. Can be used with Drawdown Plate
Principle
The wire-wound scraping rod is formed by a specific gap surface of the wire wound rod body, when the rod body moves on the surface of the substrate, Coating is uniformly scraped through the gap to form a thickness of 120 microns wet-film coating.
Applications
Coating Spreaders, Laboratory Testing, Quality Control, Sample Preparative
Steps
1. Spreader Substrate and Coatings
2. Coating evenly on one end of the substrate
3. Hold both ends of the Applicator rod to contact the substrate at an appropriate angle
4. Push Applicator rod forward smoothly at a constant speed
5. Clean Applicator rod after Spreader
Notice
• Applicator rod clean and free of contamination before use
• Maintain uniform speed during operation to ensure uniform film
• Clean immediately after use to prevent Coating curing
• Avoid collision damage to the wire-wound structure during storage
• Note that the application width does not exceed 25.5cm.
